Ever experienced a kitchen bin liner leak? The kind that makes your kitchen smell putrid and worst still, you have to clean the garbage juice and any built-up mould that's made its way to the bottom of your bin?
You can put those suburban newspapers that have been piling up in your front yard to use by using them to line the bottom of your kitchen bin. When it comes time to emptying your kitchen bin liner and it's had a leak, simply replace the soiled pages with fresh ones and there'll be no need to clean your bin ever.
Instead of newspapers you can also use plastic shopping bags, cardboard packaging or even another bin liner scrunched up - essentially anything that will avoid the garbage juice from getting to the bottom of your bin.
